Characteristics

The Eurasian tree sparrow exhibits sexual monomorphism. Its crown and nape are chestnut, and its face is white. There are black patches on its cheeks.
Habits: Flocks of Eurasian tree sparrows often appear in flats and rice paddies. They mainly feed on plant seeds and grass seeds, as well as insects.
Resident/Common; Body length: 14 cm
Birdwatching period: year round
